If you are looking to grow your business by way of an acquisition, we will:
- Help you determine the acquisition criteria and identify acquisition targets accordingly, using various industry databases and networks.
- Provide you with a long list of target companies corresponding to most criteria, each with a brief profile to assist you in making a selection of the best ones, which would constitute the short list.
- Approach the owners of the selected target companies on an anonymous basis and collect further information.
- Help with the drafting of Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA) and other documents.
- Organize and participate in the initial meeting with the most desirable targets, and provide follow-up facilitation.
- Stay close to the target’s owners and management to anticipate potential misunderstandings.
- Help you with valuation issues and play an active role during the negotiation phase.
- Provide guidance in drafting a formal offer, or Letter of Intent (LOI) and ensure the process moves forward at an appropriate pace.
- Coordinate the involvement of your other technical experts (lawyers, accountants, bankers, etc.) during due diligence.
- Provide advice until the conclusion of a proposed transaction, including assisting in the closing.
